Southern Cross Town (南十字星町 Sazankurosu Taun) is a city ruled by Shin and his organization, the King Organization. It is also their headquarters for their operations and their stronghold in controlling the Kanto region. The city is also filled with slaves who were captured from the region to use as labor force for the city construction.
It represent by a cross as a symbol of his organization.

In the early chapters, Kenshiro and Bat wander in the Kanto region and confront some of King's men. After killing Spade, they head to the Southern Cross as King threatens to kill the villagers until he shows up. Kenshiro soon head to Southern Cross and proceed to kill three of the lieutenants on his way to Shin. After Shin's death, the Southern Cross fate is left unknown.
TV Series[]
In the anime, the Southern Cross wasn't established yet and was moved from his fortress to present Yuria his love to her. It is constantly populated by Shin's army and slaves they bring in. They are situated in a valley, shaped as an eye in the center of what looks like an iris, near a patch of forest. The slaves were given some decency under Yuria's request and Shin's orders much to the army's disgruntlement.
Soon, Temujina tipped Kenshiro the location of Southern Cross. Kenshiro, Bat, Lin and Jennifer head there to confront Shin and the King organization. The army held a steadfast defense against Kenshiro's group, which resulted in Jennifer's death. After Kenshiro's presumed death, the army is restless over Shin's rule and attempted a coup against Shin led by Barcom. However, Barcom is killed and the rest of King's army proceed to raze the city and kill any civilians in the process. The rest either fled to the wasteland or died in the ensuring chaos. The one remaining behind is Shin and his bodyguard along with Yuria. Meanwhile, Raoh headed to Southern Cross to claim Yuria.
Soon, Yuria attempted to commit suicide but was saved by the Nanto Goshasei, leaving Shin to voluntarily take the blame for Yuria's death. Kenshiro soon arrive at the palace and dispatched the rest of King's men, leaving Shin behind. After an intense duel, Shin soon commit suicide and buried by Kenshiro. The Southern Cross was abandoned and left in ruins.
Saki comes to Shin and Yuria graves once in a while to tend to the graves. Ryuga later visit to pay respects for his sister before leaving.
